I'm Amaya, specialized translator from English and Spanish into French

Specialized in medical and biosanitary translation, I also carefully translate a wide variety of content, paying attention to every word. Thanks to my life between France and Spain, I bring a deep understanding of both cultures to my translations. My passion for English and Spanish has always been with me: I take pleasure in delivering messages with accuracy, naturalness… and a real human sensitivity. Based in Zaragoza, Spain, I work remotely with customers from all over the world.

About me

Languages have always been at the heart of my story. Even before I turned to translation, it was the French language that fascinated me, so much so that I went on to complete a degree in language sciences, where I discovered the richness of linguistics. I then explored French from another angle with a Master’s degree in FLE, out of love for its transmission. English, Spanish, Latin, ancient Greek, Korean… learning languages has always been part of my daily life, like a game and a quest for meaning. Today, I share this linguistic passion on my @amayatranslations networks, between vocabulary curiosities, grammatical reflections and cross-language looks.

Amaya translations

My specialization in medical translation came just as naturally. I’ve long been drawn to the sciences, and particularly to healthcare, and I’m constantly learning more about this vast and constantly evolving universe. I’m particularly interested in women’s health, psychology and pharmaceuticals, all of which require rigor, terminological precision and regular updating. For me, translating well also means understanding, remaining curious and immersing myself in the challenges of each text.

This is what I explored in my Master’s thesis: between reformulation, professional responsibility and collaboration with experts in the field, I highlighted the demands and humanity required by medical translation.

It’s this demand and sensitivity that I bring to every assignment.
